  • Sigma Kappa Sorority is a social sorority that promotes the social, intellectual and spiritual aspects of womanhood. Sigma Kappa provides a quality membership experience for its members and has four core values: personal growth, friendship, service, and loyalty. Our chapter has been on campus since 1959 and nation wide since 1874.

Our national sorority is proud to be second largest contributor to the Alzheimer's Association. Our local chapter participates in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, our philanthropy Soccer Tournament, and our Rock to Remember fundraiser to benefit the Sigma Kappa Foundation which supports the Alzheimer's Association, Inherit the Earth, the study of Gerontology, and Maine Seacoast Mission.

Each of our members are also involved in another organization within the community or on campus. We strive for excellence in academic achievement and support for all campus activities. Also, alumnae chapters are located nation-wide to encourage the women to continue the sisterhood, life-long friendships, and support of local community projects.

This is a chapter site, and should not be confused with our national Sigma Kappa website. To learn more about our national organization, visit our National Website.
